The staff knew where the sights were, so they told me what I already knew. The location is close enough to the museums, for when you feel like pretending to be cultured.
The free WiFi works great. if you enjoy a snail's pace connection from the 19th century.

The price for our xmas stay couldn't have been better! We got a great bargain, especially considering the busy weekend. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro and plenty of places to grab breakfast nearby. The room was small but incredibly clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was always tidy.
The Wi-Fi didn't work on our last day, and it took a while for the staff to address the issue. Additionally, we had a bit of trouble getting into the hotel when we arrived as there was no one at the reception to let us in.

We didn't feel like leaving, totally recommend. The hotel was clean and our room was clean and fairly quiet. The location was favorable, at walking distance from a huge plaza. It was adjacent to the center of Madrid and markets and fruit stands and train station.
